Does anyone know of a reasonable formula to calculate the amount of bandwidth needed per employee/user/application?
I've been asked to come up with a number of total communication scenarios for our company. We've got a number of users that are typical Internet users, three to five external Citrix users and one situation for data uploads that currently takes about an hour to complete between file sizes and steps that have to be taken. We're looking at the concept of providing select clients with access to SQL reporting services (very restricted based on user and database access) and possibly hosting one and then two web applications for our clients (about 400 external users). Add to that the fact that we're bringing in a dynamic PRI to use with a ShoreTel phone system in February, have just installed two TV's and are on an antiquated cable modem system and you begin to see why my head's already starting to throb! Any ideas? Until Later! C.
