yeah I thought of posting the albuquerque accident as a joke, but I figured I could count on gruss to pick it up. But yeah, don't know anything about the NY incident, but the accident in albuquerque involved a Bernalillo county sheriff who was acting as escort and it was the female civilian who got the ticket. I mean.... two police cars with their lights on in the intersection. Would *you* interpret this as "proceed at speed?" We don't get a LOT of motorcades around here, but enough.
