In a mild defense of Florida, they do play Florida State every
year...outside of conference. Now lately that hasn't meant much, but not
long ago FSU was a college football elite (they finished in the top 5 14
straight years...a stat that just amazes me).

Anyway, schedules are set several years in advance....so SOME non-con games
that turn out to be patsies, may not have seemed that way when they were
scheduled.
