I think that Plimer has some good points. His book was a good read.

But I am amazed and humored by Plimer calling out the scientific community
for slanting their science in order to keep the paychecks coming.

He doesn't seem to hold himself to the same scrutiny.

>From wikipedia:
Plimer is a director of three Australian mining companies:
Ivanhoe,<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Plimer#cite_note-mines1-19>CBH
Resources<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Plimer#cite_note-mines1-19>and
Kefi Minerals.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Plimer#cite_note-20>
Plimer has said that the proposed Australian carbon-trading scheme could
decimate the Australian mining
industry,<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Plimer#cite_note-minjour-2>and
probably destroy it
totally,<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Plimer#cite_note-destroy-21>as
well as creating massive
unemployment.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Plimer#cite_note-destroy-21>

I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.
