Foregoing the debate about whether the current bout of global climate change is anthropogenic or not, I'm curious what your take is, Robert, on whether we should still try and mitigate it with our own actions.
So, lets posit for a moment that the dominant driver of climate change is not human activity. If so, do you think we humans have the capability of influencing climate change with the increase or decrease of carbon dioxide and methane emissions? If we do have that capability, do you think it is wise for us to decrease carbon emissions in order to try and keep the climate closer to its current state in which we humans are happily adapted?
