I used to work as a juvie counselor years ago, and dealt with more kids like this than I care to admit. I also had to testify in court about a very similar case back in Manitoba.
The kid was out of line. But the cop was well beyond the pale. He should be fired but arrested for assault. The rat bast*rd was on a power trip. its that sort of police officer that gives all others a bad name. Unfortunately in many cases this sort of scum burrow their way into the system and its very difficult to get rid of them.
