If a law enforcement officer cannot effective control a 15 year girl.. then he or she should not be an officer.

Whether he is convicted or not, I personally think he should be fired, and prevented from ever working in law enforcement or for the public in any capacity forever. By claiming that this WASNT an assault, which it clearly is, he had proven himself on the wrong side of the good guy/bad guy fight, thereby making his continued employment in law enforcement impossible.
