Runaway government? The problem is that voters gave Democrats the White House and super-majorities in both houses of Congress and they didn't do much of anything with them. The total opposite of runaway government. Obama and Democrats haven't used their power and they are being punished for being all talk and no walk.
Contrast that to Republicans who were able to push through tax cuts for the rich with 51 votes through reconciliation to avoid a fillibuster. I may have been opposed to their agenda but Republicans knew how to get shit done, like driving the media cycle like they are in power when they have 41 votes in the Senate. 41 votes is the new majority?
