You think we see the balance differently but you don't ever bother to engage, just demagogue. I don't believe in encouraging people to quit their jobs in search of a hand out and I believe in rewarding hard work. There is a reason I've started more than one company, why I've hired and fired employees. And growing up in a family where my mother benefited from welfare-to-work training programs and pulled herself up by her bootstraps, I can also see the immense value in social welfare programs.
Anyway, my point was that Socialism isn't a bad concept, just like Capitalism isn't. You can choose to demonize a word without any understanding or nuance, but that doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't approach it with an appreciation for its pros and cons.
