I answered an ad for a tech and received a reply asking for a quote. Now the person is saying they are going to ship the computers to me. The alleged proposed work (straightforward Windows + Office installs) does not justify this expense imho but I dont't get what he gets from my name and address if I give them to him. Is the next step that he needs a credit report to make sure I don't abscond with them? That must be it, huh.
