So I'm only "responsible" for myself? Whew, because I thought my actions had consequences. I guess those consequences only affect myself? Or that's all I should personally care about? You totally missed my point (on purpose? ;]). It's pretty easy to tell the difference between a video game and the news, right? Taking a pass on the whole "I hate politics but I must love them too, based on my actions" comment I made about you, eh? :) I wonder if people have gotten all polarized because they subconsciously are aware that we've slipped into a majority rule type deal, and playing along is easier than changing the system. I just wish people would *think*, ya know? Myself included. =) But you have to see the humor in you putting the responsibility of Judah's point about the media's impact on mental states, on the non-central political aspect instead, when you say that's exactly what you dislike about these threads, neh? Probably that's just my wacked out sense of humor. And Vivec, the dude probably isn't a "terrorist", by the definition of terrorism. Terrorism is (loosely) the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion. The agenda he was pushing was a personal one. One that a lot of people probably share (has there ever been much love for the tax man? Especially in tight times? (and when aren't they, really)), which is a little sad, I agree. Doesn't have the same feeling as McVeigh, who fits the bill of terrorist a little less than your average anti-abortion motivated murderer, IMHO. Let's get the tax man! He steals our (totally self-made and self-responsible-to ;]) money! (And how come it's never the "tax chick", eh? Not very PC, IMO) But hey, people generally hate politicians, right? The natural order of things, I reckon, but it's a shame we can't use our brains to get past our baser instincts as much as we could. Eh. I'm as guilty as the next guy. I'm an animal-man. Hear me roar! Where's my woman, I want to drag her around by her hair for a bit. Maybe bust some The Quest for Fire type goodness. :den -- Full surely there is a blessedness beyond the grave for those who have already entered on it here, and in no other form than that wherein they know it here, at any moment.
