The thing is, who has their screws in tight?

You think you're uncrackable? :)

Is it the last straw, which "makes" the camel's back broken, or did
those other straws play some role?

Is only the last straw, personally responsible?

And if these spread-out, wonky sentences are driving you crazy, how 'bout this:

War of the Worlds-- BOOM! I just won the discussion (LOL) with that,
right? Isn't it a little closer than the video game example, a bunch
of false information coming from a "trusted" source?
Did people do crazy stuff? I don't really know, I wasn't there, but I
heard it was so.

It may seem like I've actually wandered way off topic, but this is
like one of those deals where we go out all like "WTF?" and then I
bring it back all like "Oh /snap/!". :)

"Some" media outlets tend to denigrate whole groups of people quite
often. Do you think this has no effect on one's Psyche? Do you think
it's without consequence?
I'm not saying I think this dude flew a plane into a building
because Fox news is sending out bad vibes, but I'm saying the stuff
has more of an impact than you seem to argue it does.

To touch on the "are people mostly good or mostly bad" thread, but
change it a bit to be "are people mostly sane or are people mostly
crazy", I'd argue that people have to be mostly sane (good?) or the
whole system would just come crashing down. We whiz by each other
(within feet, going opposite directions) at 60mph, have credit cards,
etc.. None of that would work if nearly everyone wasn't "normal", in
some respect.

Heh. The Sheeple... What's scary is when it's normal, or sane, to
think that-- Oh, snap!
I'm out of time. Guess we won't get back to that "Oh /snap/!" moment. :)

My bad.
