No idea? You mean there's a major event happening between the US and Israel going on with words like rebuke, demand, condemn, and summon being thrown around and you haven't heard any of it? Here are some links which I've limited to US sources and even then mainly to the WP. Choose your source of preference and you'll be reading the same thing.
When I say Israel in this I mean the government as well as the population. The feeling 'on the street' is that the US is just using them. When I say US, I mean Obama personally with Clinton along for the ride. Basically the story goes that the Obama's popularity in Israel is extremely low as he's basically ignored Israel except to make demands. Biden was sent over for a 'love fest' to make Israel feel better. A building project that was in the works for 3 years in a long time, pre-existing Jewish neighborhood of Jerusalem was announced without knowledge of the Israeli PM. Biden felt insulted and let it be shown in words and actions. Netanyahu apologized and it should have been over. Instead, the Obama and Clinton used heavy handed language to turn the minor event into a major hammer to hit Israel with. This has led to even less trust on the part of Israel in America. It also led politicians from all sides trying to get this to be played out quietly rather than in the media as has been currently done. Read it all yourself, disagree with my assessment, do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight, get down tonight. :) A familiar obstacle to Mideast peace: Mahmoud Abbas http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/21/AR2010032101708.html Squeeze Israel by cutting US aid?
