Quite the contrary. It _isn't_ all Tea Party leaders.
The origins of the Tea Party movement, a diverse group of people coming together to denounce _big government_, and advocate for no or low taxes, was a brilliant idea. Unfortunately, the movement has been co-opted by Fox News, main stream Republicans, right wing crazies of all sorts, anti-government nuts, militia movements, racist groups, Evangelical Christian groups, anti-communists, anti-corporate folk, deregulators, global warming deniers, black helicopter trackers and gun manufacturers. What started as a lean racehorse with one rider has become a circus act with 6 riders, pulling a clown car chained to a humvee changed to an old pickup truck with one donut tire. Since these incidents (and there were more than one, across the country, by Tea Party leaders), the _main_ Tea Party organizers have done a great job denouncing the fringe. Due to the nature of what should remain their single goal, they need a large tent, but the leaders need to stay on top of their rabble, to make sure their message does not get drowned out by the shouting from the crowd.
