Quite the contrary.

It _isn't_ all Tea Party leaders.

The origins of the Tea Party movement, a diverse group of people coming
together to denounce _big government_, and advocate for no or low taxes, was
a brilliant idea.

Unfortunately, the movement has been co-opted by Fox News, main stream
Republicans, right wing crazies of all sorts, anti-government nuts, militia
movements, racist groups, Evangelical Christian groups, anti-communists,
anti-corporate folk, deregulators, global warming deniers, black helicopter
trackers and gun manufacturers.

What started as a lean racehorse with one rider has become a circus act with
6 riders, pulling a clown car chained to a humvee changed to an old pickup
truck with one donut tire.

Since these incidents (and there were more than one, across the country, by
Tea Party leaders), the _main_ Tea Party organizers have done a great job
denouncing the fringe.

Due to the nature of what should remain their single goal, they need a large
tent, but the leaders need to stay on top of their rabble, to make sure
their message does not get drowned out by the shouting from the crowd.

Hopefully this refocuses the efforts.
