Bombers still didn't label themselves at all.

The investigation is ongoing.

There is much supposition, which is very likely to prove out, that the 2
women were members of the "Black Widows". Once it is, then the news writers
should feel free to label away. Or once the investigation stalls, and has no
more facts to add, make best guess suppositions.

But there is not yet any publicly released facts to base a guess on yet.

It _probably_ was Chechen rebels, and was _probably_ the Black Widows, and
was _probably_ 2 Muslim women, but as a 2003 study of the suicide bombers in
the North Caucasus showed, many are not Muslim, many are not widows, and
some have had _no_ close family member killed in the fighting.

Although there now is a tentative claim of responsibility according to the
FSB, but no specific group, so that press release is still a little suspect.
