Do you remember the uproar in the aftermath of Katrina when several
media outlets showed two AP images, one of a whites labeled survivors,
one of a blacks labeled looters?  My acquaintance at CNN.com removed
the word looter from the second photo because the people in that photo
had not been vetted as looters.  As a result, CNN.com was one of the
few media outlets that did not get caught up in the controversy.  That
is the level of care they take with each story since the Tailhook
scandal.  So I have severe doubts that anyone at CNN "shamelessly
avoided" labeling the bombers as Muslims.  Are you 100% sure they are
Muslims?  What was your take on the Oklahoma City bombers?  Did you
assume they were Muslims, as a lot of the media did?
