OK, so let's do it here and see how many jobs I get in the future.

1. I was convicted of multiple crimes as a minor. None are in the public
record and have been expunged. They were non-violent and drug related
mainly with a couple of assaults and a self-defense stabbing included.

2. AT 14 I became a ward of the state until I emancipated myself (yep did
it myself with some help from a lawyer) at 16. During my time in NY's care
I was in various group homes, mental institutions and residential
facilities. This is when I shaved into a skinhead gang

3. From 16 until 23 I was pretty much scum. I did and sold drugs, fought,
was in a gang and couldn't hold down a job.

4. At 23 I enlisted in the Army. I received a total of 2 summarized and 1
field grade AR15 (non-judicial punishment) all were drinking and fighting
issues. I got out as an E-4 that is probably 2 grades lower than where I
should have been.

5. I drove without a license from 19-33. I got a DUI in 93 in Maine and
didn't finish taking care of it until after getting back from a deployment.

6. I got a DUI shortly after getting back from Afghanistan. I blew a .08.
If I had a decent job at the time I could have gotten off from it, I think
it was a BS charge.

7. I am a NY Hardcore Skinhead. I am not a racist. As a matter of fact I
have been an active anti-racist since 1988 with all that entails.

8. I have been in a married long term swinging relationship with a
bi-sexual woman and done some very fun things and this isn't something I
want to have to give up in order to meet community standards.

9. I don't drink. I haven't in a couple of years. While I'm not an
alcoholic (no fiend or jones or desire) I am certainly a problem drinker in
that I get very violent and angry when I drink.

10. I have been diagnosed with: PTSD, Bi-Polar Disorder, ADHD and Seasonal
Affective Disorder. I take several drugs. Xanex as needed, cymbalta,
abilify and some sleeping pill I can never remember the name of.

11. I am currently being looked at for having a TBI from a close call one
time. If I do have a TBI I have no interest in trying to run for office. I
don’t want everything I do to be questioned based off of an injury sustained
in the defense of this nation.

12. I am a pot head. I view myself as a medicinal user. NC is not a
medicinal state. Supposedly a bill will be coming up for election in the
next 6 months or so. Honestly the decriminalization of most drugs would be
a central plank in my beliefs.

I'm sure there is more, but that’s the highlights.

Now, many of you have been talking to me for years, and know my politics.
With this new knowledge of my previous life would you ever consider voting
for me EVEn if you agreed with everything I say, and no one does :)

Tim, run for office.

Make your "publically [humiliating]" public in a general statement.
Make it clear that there will be no whitewashing.

You did what you did, did your time and served your country with
distinction. What more could people really want in an elected
official?

Own your past. Embrace your future!

Represent!
