So you were enlisted then. The only reason that I ask is because MOS's that end with A designate an officer MOS. 11A - infantry officer, 12A - Armor officer, 13A, FA officer, 18A, Special Forces officer and so on. Maybe back in the 80's it was different. I dunno. I am not doubting your service, just wondering when the A designator at the end of an MOS changed from enlisted to officers. I'll have to research since my degree is going to be in military history, and this would be an interesting bit of trivia for a future research paper.
