mmmmm not sure. They *get* jobs as unskilled labor. Does not mean they don't have skills. This is based on anecdotal evidence, but pretty good anecdotal evidence. A lot of small mechanic's shops and contractors in certain parts of town in Albuquerque. Mind, I can't swear to anyone's immigration status, but neither, I submit, can you.
