Yes I did 2 church websites and wrote it off but my accountant made me get a
letters from them to back up the amount that I would charge for the website
if they were commercial customers.

I think you may be able to, but I don't know the specifics, I did some
work for my parent's church many. many moons ago, I was able to write
it off, but there was something about the 501-C3 having to "monetize"
it or someting..
