OK here's a situation for you. You have a wireless network with no
security. What is to stop someone from driving up, and accessing child
pron through your network. and what are you going to tell the law when
they bust you for possessing child porn.

Another situation, someone uses it to do identity theft. Or support
terrorists. They won't be caught, but you will be held responsible.

There's been more than once case where such has happened.
