When they all march lockstep and vote (or not vote) according to what their
leadership tells them to do, instead of voting for what their constituents
tell them to do, they are leaning towards fascism (notice the trouble the
dems have in getting all of their people to vote...not too much
goose-stepping going on there). Cap that off with their across the board
favoritism of corporations over citizens. That makes them Corporatists.
Corporatism is fascism. I don't think I heard a peep from the right against
the recent SCOTUS decision to allow Corporations unlimited ability to donate
in elections. Even if their speeches and such were not pro-Corp...their
silence was an acquiescence to this and tacit agreement. The republican
party is very fascist. Now to clarify, I do not mean Adolph Hitler, let go
cook some Jews kind of fascists(though there is plenty of elements of racism
alive and well in the republican party)...I am referring to pure
fascism...Italian fascism...the corporate state.

Do you deny that republican policies are corporatist and favor corporations
over the individual?

How many pro-life republicans are there vs. pro-choice? How many
republicans backed the Faith based charity act knowing full well that it is
stacked for Christianity. How many republicans are against gay marriage vs.
those for the freedom of their fellow Americans? The non-Christian side of
these equations are going to be slim. The party has been and still is
firmly in the camp of fundamentalist Christianity (the American Taliban),
whose goal is to turn this country into a theocracy.

Are you trying to say that the Religious Right has nothing to do with
Republican polices?

Eric

Stereotyping and hyperbole. Not all Republicans are fascists or even
Christian. Not all Christians try to cram laws down people's throats.
And on the other side, not all Democrats are socialists.

You dilute your argument when you overstate the case.
