I would disagree with this statement. Yes, there are some home
schooled kids who fit this description, but I would say it is the
exception rather than the rule.

Most of the home school kids I have seen (including my own children)
interact with other children, and adults, as well, or better, than
those in public/private school. My kids play organized sports and get
along fine with their team mates - well, most of them - and the ones
they do not get along with, its usually kids who they would not get
along with even if they were not home schooled.
