As a note...most teachers and school administrators are against NCLB...

Fair enough. I've not seen them outside of homeschool and church groups very
often so it could just be the situations they were in.

Honestly I've considered home schooling seriously. Even if they truely are
socially awkward they can't possibly be any worse than I was in high school
and I was public schooled. The reason I think I'll opt for private school
instead is because I don't think my wife could handle it due to some health
issues and I have to work. Still I've got a couple years before my oldest is
ready for school so who knows what will happen in that time.

I promise you though my kids won't be in public school. At least not so long
as NCLB is in effect and forcing teachers to slow thier lessons down for
that kid in every class who doesn't want to learn.
