That is a pretty weak list. I'd agree with Rangel, Murtha, Ensign and
Dodd and maybe Burris/Jackson. Something went down with the selection
of Obama's replace and we known that Blago is crook, but I'm not sure
what really happened. Though Dodd over Ensign as most corrupt? Dodd is
way too cozy with Countrywide, no doubt. Ensign got a job for the
husband of his mistress (who also works for him) to try and silence
everyone about the affair (as a start for his misdeeds). And Geithner
for the 34K in tax? Meh. I don't think he should have been appointed
but that makes him worthy of the top 10 in corruption? Please, that is
chump change in DC. Personally, I would have put Murtha at the top but
I have a particular issue with people who combine kickbacks with
defense deals. Not only does it screw over our country, it screws over
the men and women in the military at a time they are deployed in
hostile territory.

Still, when I look over the list and see people being put on the top
10 for lax regulatory oversight and missing tax payments, I have to
say that, wow, we've come a long ways since the day of Duke
Cunningham, Tom Delay and anyone involved with Halliburton or Jack
Abramoff. If this really is the top 10 most corrupt in DC, then DC has
really been cleaned up in the last 2 years.
