Depends on who you are talking about:

- Some people simply want to blame Obama for anything and everything
- Some people legitimately think the government should have taken over right
away, and could have done a better job
- Some feel that this is BP's mess and they should clean it up.

There is another category of people who simply feel helpless, sick and angry
about what is happening to the environment. They realize the importance in
2010 America of offshore drilling, and they recognize the dangers. They know
that the government can't work miracles by swooping in and cleaning up a
disaster that, apparently, no one in the country has any real idea bout how
to stop. But their feeling of restless anger generally means that blame has
to fall somewhere...even somewhere not necessarily deserved....and that
place more times than not, is the office of the President.

I'm still in category 3...but I can certainly understand people who've
already moved into that last category.
