I have yet to see you disagree with anything Israel does...you are always
like a puppy dog happily agreeing with whatever they do and defending their
genocidal actions, barking at their feet waiting for them to throw you a
bone for your loyalty. I have yet to see 1 negative comment from you in
regards to Israel.

Israel, on many occasions, has stated that people that disagree with what
she does are anti-Semitic. AIPAC has stated that. Israeli activists have
stated that. The anti-defamation league has stated that. That has been the
Zionist cry for years...either you are for us and out imperialistic,
genocidal takeover of Palestine or you are an anti-Semite...or of you are
Jewish and disagree with us, you are a self hating Jew.

If this was just some group that supported Hamas...I doubt that Turkey, who
at least was, an ally with Israel, would essentially stop diplomatic
communication and pull out her ambassadors. That was an official action.
While Turkey, being a Muslim nation, is very sensitive to Muslim issues, I
don't think they would create a big stir if this was just supporters of
Hamas rather than an actual aid flotilla.

Yes...this is Israel's fault. They chose to stage a military raid on
civilian ships. They have control, of their military. The military did not
act on it's own. This was ordered by the Israeli government. Also, if
everything is so above the board on this, why are reporters being banned
from talking to the civilians they took prisoner? Even Ha'aretz is saying
that this was a major fuck up on Israel's part.

BTW...when any country builds a wall...it isn't OK...I don't recall anyone
saying it was ok in either of those countries and is it just as wrong in
Israel. We shouldn't even be allies with Saudi Arabia, one of the worst
human rights abusers in the world...where women are not even second class
citizens and rape victims get harsher punishments than their rapists do.

I also regularly read Ha'aretz (and commentary from US based Jewish
newspapers) and the English Al-Jazera to see what is going on in that part
of the world from the POV of people in that part of the world.

Gel, we might disagree at times but you're at least civil and worth
responding to.

Not terrorists but terrorist supporters. The IHH was one of the forces
behind the flotilla and is a Hamas supporter (as well as other radical
groups).

Now that the smoke has cleared, it seems that only 1 ship was involved
in any combat. The others surrendered immediately. The ship where all
of the fighting took place was the Turkish Mavi Marmara. The number of
dead stands at 9, half of whom are confirmed Turkish while the others
are assumed Turkish as well.

In addition, 7 of the soldiers were wounded, 2 critically so. There is
no statement on 60 injured at all.

Oh, and watch the Israel video as well. I think you'll see something
that tells a story different than that told by the flotilla leaders.
Much different.
The Israeli soldiers were given insane orders not to fire when first
confronted and were sent down in a truly stupid manner. Once they hit
the decks they were mobbed. No wonder so many were wounded and weapons
were snatched. This operation was poorly thought out, poorly planned
and poorly executed. Whoever was in charge put their soldiers in harms
way due to their conflicting orders.

Also, despite the rhetoric, Israel has not said that anyone who does
not support it is an anti-Semite. They say that anyone who singles it
out for special condemnation above and beyond that of other nations
is. When Spain builds a 'security wall', it's ok. When Saudi Arabia
does it, it's ok. When Israel does it, major condemnation. That's
anti-Semitic.

I don't always agree with Israel. I doubt anyone here always agrees
with Israel. I doubt anyone here really knows whats happening in
Israel past what they read in non-Israeli papers. On the same note, I
doubt that anyone here reads the translations of Arabic papers or
shows.
