Not sure where you get I said it was physically imposible for a gun to
absorb 'backblast' from that statement.

Once again, my stance has consistently been that it is physically
imposible for a bullet fired from a handgun or rifle, to knock a
person back a few feet. I never made any statements about how guns may
or may not handle 'backblast'.

And just in case it happens to come up, I did stipulate that it may be
posible with a 'rail gun'.  It does has a different mechanism of
launching a projectile, but I am not aware of any 'rail guns' that
could be the equivalent of rifles or handguns.
