Long ago I left a job for a new one right around Christmas time. Even though I hadn't officially started yet, the new company I was going to work for invited me to their company holiday party and the party just happened to be on the same day as my last day of work at the old company. The best part was that the new company had a policy of hiring limos to go pick everyone up (and bring them home) for the party (to keep people from driving home drunk and also just for the cool factor). Sooooo - on my last day of work I walked out of my old job and the jerk I worked for watched me get into a limo to leave for my new job.
