If our ideology is better (and I think it is) then we do not need to gang up to defeat Islamism. We need to defend ourselves and do a better job of living our ideals. Communism largely collapsed under its own weight. The nasty shit we did (think Pinochet and Iran-Contra) did more harm to our cause than good. Believe in the power of our ideals and live them. That's the surest way to create the world that we want to live in.
