I'm of multiple minds about this. It definitely has the potential to be a negative influence. On the other hand, I'd much rather that my daughter be flirting on a webcam than hooking up under the bleachers at school. Having outlets for sexual energy often delays the age at which kids actually start having intercourse. That's a good thing. The key though is how to make sure that your kids have a good sense of self respect and self worth regardless of the medium that they are in.
