Maybe you need to study the English language a bit more in depth. Labels are part of out language. Without labels, we would have no way to communicate with others.

Do you disagree that it is stupid to think skin color should be a factor in determining a person's intelligence and abilities? What people(s) who have come to America for a better life revel in being downgraded to "black, white, Asian, Hispanic, other" to identify themselves? Do you believe that is necessary? How many applications have you filled out and was confused because you never thought to label yourself with a color brush? The reality is that people are being discriminated against based on lies and stereotypes. These stereotypes cause and perpetuate separation and divisions. Using the term American does not mean everyone, but a majority.
