But...but...but.... Isn't this guy French?
How does this prove _America_ cannot be over racism? (Which it clearly isn't, but we ARE getting better, I believe.) (Which brings up any number of questions in my mind. Was he speaking in French? If so, is the "n word" the same in English and French? Or did someone translate it? If so, what a crappy job. And if so, are we sure the translation was spot on? (Or was it like the bible verses we mention now and then, where people correct my view based on the translation vs the original Hebrew or Aramaic)? Or should the word have been another horrible racist word with a potentially slightly different (albeit evil) meaning? Are old French guys racists like old American guys? Or is it rich old guys in general? Is it roughly as prevalent as a percentage of population based on age groups? Are there areas of France that are more racist than others (like southern France)? So many questions) On Sun, Oct 24, 2010 at 5:51 PM, Vivec <[email protected]> wrote: > > Buuut just so we don't lose sight of why this is such a hot button topic: > http://bit.ly/9PL3UH > > French perfume house Guerlain faces a lawsuit after their founder says > he "worked like a nigger" on his new perfume.
