Spent a lot of time today filling out my ballot so I can drop it off tomorrow when I'm on the island. The big races weren't too hard because I had long since figured out who I wanted to vote for, but the local stuff, and the state races like Attorney General and State School Superintenden ..geez!!.
I used VoteSmart.org to find candidate websites, and if the first thing I saw when visiting the site was an attack on their opponent, I marked them off the list. In some races, there was no one left when I was done with visiting the sites. I voted for several republicans, especially in the local races, because I liked their stance on local issues. We just had a huge ballot initiative back in February about the redevelopment of the old Naval Air base, so a lot of my picks were based on the position the candidates held for that. Still, choices were hard, and in almost every single race, I ended up voting more against a candidate than for them. So, tell me. How do you make your choices? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:330621 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
