The assistant police chief in LA endorsed Prop 19.  General consensus
here is that the polls cannot predict accurately because a lot of
people are reluctant to admit they support the proposition.  What I
find very interesting is that all of the political mailings by the
various interest groups and parties don't mention Prop 19 at all.

I'm sure the Feds have their propaganda machine in full force on this
one however.  You gotta wonder how much it cost the drug cartels to
get Obama and Holder to make their announcement last week about
Federal enforcement, and just how much ad revenue they are pouring
into the LA Times to get them to oppose it.
