Here in Florida we have a lot of "Shall so and so be retained for some position" type questions on the ballot. Usually positions on oversight committees and review boards and such. I generally select "no" on all of them by default unless I've heard of them and have some compelling reason to keep them in place. Turnover in government is generally a good thing so politicians don't get too comfortable.
