I've been known to do that as well, and I know a lot of people who do...and
the reason...turnover is generally good....seems valid.

But I stopped doing that, for this reason: I think people who do a good job
should be allowed to keep doing that job, if they so choose, until such time
as they are no longer doing a good job. Longevity in a position isn't really
a problem, if hte person in the position is doing a great job.

So now I try to research, but if I don't know about a person, I'll abstain
instead of voting them out.
