<snipped> Oh? Interesting argument coming from you. What of those who claim that the life of an unborn baby is "sacred"? ************************************************************ That is a religious opinion. Nobody is arguing about whether or not this person is dead. The disagreement in the abortion rights issue is whn does life begin...something that is not even agreed upon amongst people of similar faiths let alone all faiths. It is also a freedom of religion issue. By imposing the Judeo-Christian belief, you would be forcing religion on people which is a clear violation of the constitution...hence the reason that abortions are still legal. Death on the otherhand is not a controversial issue. That is a scientific fact that everyone is in agreement on. You are comparing apples to oranges. > Do they not also have a right to privacy? In a word, no. Not in a public place, or even in a private place that is open aired and surrounded by public land. ******* Wrong. > The right of a > family to grieve in peace trumps anyone's right to protest. No, it simply does not, and every law that attempted to state such, has been shot down as unconstitutional. **************** I disagree...just because the government doesn't have the balls to do what is right...doesn't make it unconstitutional. ******************* > There is a > place and time for protest and shouting at the top of your lungs. And that time and place is anywhere within the legal limits of the law as seen fit by the protesters. ************* wrong > A > cemetery is not that place. Why? ************** Because a family has a right to grieve in peace and thy have a right to do so in a private manner. > It is a time to give respect to the dead and to > the family who has just lost a loved one. Yes, it is, unless you are an evil, backwards dipshit from Topeka...who also happens to be an American, protected by all the same great rights of this land as you and me. > Andrew Shepherd? Whose president > was he? Not one of ours... > *GASP* You dare deny this country's greatest President???? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:331680 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
