special interests that operate through corporate entities. the private citizen has power only to the extent that they can wield the out-sized power of a corporation. sure the tea party made some noise, but they didn't stop obamacare and they've now been co-opted by the republican party. code pink made some noise, too, but they didn't stop iraq or afghanistan. individuals need more of a voice in how they are governed. how we achieve that, I don't know. I suggest a constitutional convention as a start.
