I only knew of her before the nomination because Bass Player magazine has done several articles on her, and other women bass players (we rule!!).
I listened to the Decemberists album because Rosanne Cash was gushing about it on Twitter. It was kinda Meh! to me. The new album by Muse, on the other hand, I am loving. Will check out Lissie. Anyone who can rock Tequila is ok in my book.
