Democracy is a way of voting on policies. Socialism is a economic
policy. If people vote for a socialist economic policy in a democratic
voting system there is no conflict.

All taxation is socialist. It is fundamentally a redistribution of
what you think is "your" money for things which you may or may not
agree with, like parks, police and schools.

And what the fuck does "deingrate" mean?

No one is telling you that you can't give your money to your kid. As a
source of income, they are telling your kid the rate it will be taxed,
just like any other source of income. The fact that the government
treats inheritance as a special form of income is a very, very polite
bow to the sensibilities of the rich, not an endorsement of the
philosophy of "I've got mine!". Or so I hope, in spite of Republican
efforts to the contrary.
