He out spent USSR and broke them. We won the cold war. He cut taxes and that brought in more revenues. The GDP went way up and employment went way up. The GOP in both houses spent whatever they wanted and the Pres said give me what I want and I'll sign any bill. Same thing happened when the Donkeys had all the control. It needs to be mixed up.
