We actually have some pretty good sushi here in Phoenix (Arizona). A lot if it is shipped fresh from California and Mexico (especially the tuna). I will say that it's definately an acquired taste and texture. I'm a big fan of the nori (dried seaweed) as well. There is a flavor you won't find anywhere else.
