Excuse the estimated ingredients - I generally cook "to taste" Blackberry Margaritas
4-8 oz tequila, depending on your ability to handle it 3 cups frozen blackberries 1/2 cup blackberry jam superfine sugar or splenda to taste Ice to fill the blender Grape juice as needed to keep the blender moving. Load all this crap except sugar in the blender, blend mostly chopped, adding grape juice as needed to keep things moving. Add sugar to taste, blend again until smooth. Be Merry. Mango Daquiris 8 oz captain morgans spiced rum 1 bag frozen mango 2 cups apricot nectar 1/2 a can of that frozen Bacardi Daquiri stuff in lime superfine sugar or splenda to taste (generally doesn't need much if ANY) Ice to fill the blender Blend until smooth. Yummy. Last nights dinner was good and moronically easy so I will share. 1 can black beans 4 chicken breast halves 4 9" tortillas (I used low fat, low carb) 1 t salt 1 T chili powder 1/4 t cumin powder 4 green onions Juice of 1 lime 1/2 lb pepper jack cheese, grated Heat grill or grill pan. Drain and rinse beans. Put in bowl with chopped green onions, lime and cumin. Toss, and set aside. Rub chili powder and salt into chicken. Put chicken on grill. Cook over medium-high heat for five minutes per side, or until just cooked. Remove from grill and allow to rest for several minutes. Preheat oven to 350, or just leave grill running. Slice chicken and assemble burritos this way: Put tortilla on middle of foil square, sprinkle 1/4 of cheese on the end. Add 1/4 chicken slices and 1/4 of beans. Roll and seal in foil. Put wrapped tortillas back on grill or in oven for 15 minutes. Serve with salsa and sour cream. ______________________________________________________________________ Your ad could be here.
