or that kids are obese because of the crap foods they eat, and they eat those crap foods because that is what food corporations tell them to eat and tell their parents to buy for their kids with endless advertising on television. thirty years ago this problem did not exist, it was created by the food companies.
why sell regular sized drinks and fries when the marginal cost of doubling the size is almost nothing and almost every penny extra that you charge is pure profit? who cares if it makes a third of the kids in america obese, right? the clever mba who came up with the idea got a nice promotion and lots of money, i'm sure. and isn't that what's important, satisfying the needs to useless people who don't even produce anything? let's just give all the money to the bankers, they produce absolutely nothing. oh yeah, we already did.
