"So much for equal and free education for all:" Equal and free education has been dead for decades. While it still may be free, there is nothing equal about it. In the school zone I live in, the schools are great. In the same district, but another zone across the county, the schools are atrocious. Then compare the jokes that are Detroit City Schools, DC City Schools, and Atlanta to the suburbs around those cities.
As an aside, until vouchers are approved for everyone, I think all elected officials should send their children to public schools. Just say'n.
