Since I have two radios in my car (one AM/FM and one Amateur Radio) I can say that you learn to keep focused on the road while listening and be cautious when talking... what bothers me is when the cop in the car next to you is in an obvious argument with someone on a handheld cellphone.
It's a matter of dicipline when it comes to multitasking on the road.
