Why are the two mutually exclusive? Why can't you protest for part of a day, while answering interview calls, sending out resumes etc. for the other part of the day?
I'm baffled at why one would think that because someone protests, they aren't doing anything to find a job. The facts are that there aren't that many jobs out there currently. So try as hard as you might, you probably aren't going to find a job in many fields in the current US economy. The facts are that the current financial mess is due to decisions made on Wall Street that were completely profit oriented, and in some instances made with the full knowledge of the possible repercussions (hence the massive wins by betting that the instruments would fail). Wall Street is continuing business as usual, and corporate America is fighting tooth and nail every single reform that the present administration wants to pass through the GOP. So the statement that if you can't get a job it's your own fault is completely erroneous, biased and in many instances: incorrect. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:343280 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
