So, speaking of the media's bias for or against the Occupy movement...

For several nights over the past week(s) the Atlanta news has repeatedly
broken into regular television broadcasts to sensationalize the "pending
arrests of protesters". Showing TV reporters walking up to protesters who
loudly proclaim "We don't understand why they are planning to arrest
us?!?!?!?" They the TV reporter walks up to a police officer and asks "Why
are you planning on arresting these peaceful protesters?!?!?!?!"

However, no matter how hard the media tried to convince viewers that
horrible arrests were about to happen. None did.

In fact, Atlanta's Mayor Kasim Reed instead announced that the protesters
would be allowed to stay for another week - by his executive order. That
week was up yesterday and the news was at it again... Till the Mayor
announced that he was issuing another executive order stating that the
Occupy folks can remain in the park for three more weeks, citing Atlanta's
history and importance of acts Civil Disobedience in that history.

Now the protesters are bracing themselves for November 7th, when that
executive order expires. But, what if they are just allowed to perpetually
stay? So disappointing... I know... The protesters are going to have to
try harder to get arrested in Atlanta - that's for sure.
