Actually Larry, this is not tinfoil hat territory, but the truth. Congress just passed a bill that essentially suspends habeas corpus and Posse Comitias...It hasn't been signed into law, so the ball is in Obama's court. He has threatened to veto it but I'll believe that when I see the veto stamp. The military will be free to arrest, indefinitely and without charge, US citizens on US soil if they are suspected of terrorism. Unfortunately, terrorism, in the narrow minds of many would also include the Occupy folks and anyone else who dares to stand up against the government.
